About Eckmann Custom Products

Eckmann Pressed Metal, Racine, Wisconsin was founded in 1947 by the late Harold Eckmann, a well known metal stamping engineer. Through the years the company grew and expanded its size and locations until Eckmann built their present 21st Street location. The company remained in the Eckmann family until 1979 when it was acquired by Steven H. VanWie and John R. Lang. Eckmann was again acquired in 1990 by A & E Incorporated, also of Racine.

Located in a modern 51,000 square foot facility, Eckmann uses state of the art machinery and robotics to ensure manufacturing excellence. Eckmann has long been known in the industry for is ability to produce Deep Drawn Stainless Steel parts under contract to a variety of businesses and industries. In addition, Eckmann produces Spun and Split Metal Pulleys for single and multi "V" and Poly "V" applications.

Included in the long list of contract customers are such names as Bombardier Corporation, Rexnord Corporation, Milsco Mfg. Company, Weiler & Company, Inc and Warner Electric to name just a few.

What we offer

Eckmann offers complete in-house die design, building and maintenance in our complete Tool Room facilities. Highly-trained professionals produce a wide assortment of quality tooling for stampings and pulleys. We can help from early in your design to save you money. Eckmann specializes in deep drawn stampings, including difficult deep drawing of stainless steel. In house capacity of stamping dies up to 500 tons. Quality is monitored closely for superior standards through every stage of production by our Quality Assurance Department. Eckmann also offers a wide range of finishing, or "value added" operations. Whatever your metal stampings requirements, we are capable of producing a "turnkey" service. From your blueprint, our engineers determine the stamping and finishing operations which will make the most economical and reliable production process. We may suggest design changes to facilitate high production to prolong die life. We are experienced in construction and operation of most stamping operations, from simple to complex progressive dies.
